Adrian Choa is an award-winning documentary director, best known for Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere, which was Netflix's most-watched documentary globally for weeks after release and sparked an international cultural conversation. This isn't the first time his work has achieved such virality. Previously, his gonzo Nathan-for-You-style documentary How to Become Trip Advisor's #1 Fake Restaurant set off a worldwide media frenzy.  
 
Forged in the fires of Vice, Adrian has spent over 15 years making films for the likes of Netflix, Apple TV, the BBC and Channel 4, carving out a niche for covering the strange, unexpected worlds of fringe groups, online phenomena, subcultures, criminal underworlds, esoteric communities and music scenes. His skill lies in finding moments of levity and comedy in even the darkest situations, allowing both sides of a story to shine.
 
Adrian is reimagining the immersive, talent-led documentary format for the streamer age, marrying run-and-gun rawness with his glossy well-shot visuals. This has led him to working with the likes of Amelia Dimoldenburg, Louis Theroux and Jamali Maddix, taking him across the globe from a fraudster's Swiss hideout (The Art World's Greatest Feud, Apple TV), to a tantric sex cult in Thailand (Tantra Island, Vice) and a high-security prison in Chicago (Chicago Gangs, Mindhouse).
 
Simultaneously, he has the range to take on obs-doc and studio-led retrospective pieces, such as in his most recent feature diving into the world of Michelin Stars with the notorious Marco Pierre White (premiering at SXSW London 2026).
